The North Carolina Aquarium on Roanoke Island includes indoor and outdoor exhibits, educational programs, classrooms, meeting spaces and a gift shop. In addition, there are two changing exhibit galleries, after-hour opportunities and special activities.
Most visitors can tour the Aquarium in approximately 2 hours. However, if you plan to participate in Aquarium programs, dig for shark teeth in the fossil pit, or visit the gift shop allow more time. To enhance your visit, plan to take part in the Aquarium’s many opportunities!
